Changes in the Buick Cars Line-Up
For 2009, the Buick LaCrosse receives a redesigned front fascia and a new V8-powered version dubbed Super trim has been added to the current lineup. The big Buick Lucerne receives upgrades to standard features and some new safety related options. A new 3.9 liter V6 replaces 2008's 3.8-liter engine. The new V6 produces 227 horsepower, or 30 more than the outgoing 3.8-liter. Fuel economy is also improved and will have the ability to be fueled with E85 Ethanol. Every Lucerne model (CX, CXL and Super) gets Bluetooth phone connectivity, while CX and CXL models get additional standard equipment.
The Buick warranty on all 2007 vehicles now covers the powertrain (engine, transmission, and parts that deliver power to the wheels), roadside assistance, and courtesy transportation during warranty repairs for 5 years or 100,000 miles (160,000 km).
