Cadillac Cars

Cadillac
Cadillac is the premiere brand of luxury automobile under the General Motors Corporation. Produced and mostly sold in the United States and Canada, the early history of the company was full of success and Cadillac became a household name around the world. However, lack of progressive styling and mechanical design lead to shrinking sales until Cadillac stepped up to compete with foreign car makers in the late 90s.

Changes in the Cadillac Cars Line-Up

Most of the Cadillac lineup receives more standard features for 2008, including the DTS, the CTS, and all Escalade models. The CTS is redesigned with larger exterior dimensions and another engine option, while the DTS receives a few changes to its interior. Additionally, the STS receives a slight internal and external redesign and a more powerful base engine.

The Cadillac warranty now covers all their 2007 vehicle’s powertrain (engine, transmission, and parts that deliver power to the wheels), roadside assistance, and courtesy transportation during warranty repairs for 5 years or 100,000 miles (160,000 km).
News on Cadillac Cars

According to Vice Chairman of Product Development, Bob Lutz, the 2009 Escalade Hybrid is the first of many future hybrids from Cadillac. With a 2-mode hybrid system, this full-size luxury SUV is said to achieve 50% better fuel economy in city driving conditions. No other hybrid variants have been announced, but experts speculate that a CTS hybrid is on the horizon.
