For 2009, Chevrolet will launch an all new 2009 Camaro as a 2010 model. The new Camaro 2-door coupe will make its long-awaited debut in the first quarter of 2009, while the Camaro convertible is will follow later in the year. Engine choices for the rear-wheel-drive Camaro be between a 3.6 liter direct-injection V6 producing 300 horsepower and the highly-anticipated "LS3" 6.2 liter V8 from the Corvette, which will produce an asphalt-wrinkling 422 horsepower. Both versions will be available with a choice of 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmissions. Also new for 2009 will be the Chevrolet Cobalt. Last year's large 2.4-liter engine has been discontinued for 2009, with a new more efficient 2.2-liter engine filling the void. For the car shopper who seeks the most excitement, the new 2009 Chevrolet Corvette will easily fill that need. The 2009 Corvette features a larger, 6.2 liter V8 that produces a whopping 430 horsepower, while the top-of-the-line ZR-1 Corvette will raise more eyebrows and pulses than any other Chevrolet ever built. And with 638 horsepower from a supercharged V8, who are we to argue?

Chevrolet's incentive program is one of the most comprehensive in the industry and feature several ways to get the best deal on a Chevy vehicle. These include customer cash back (rebates), ultra-low APRs for qualified buyers and lease deals which feature low monthly payments. Additionally, Chevy participates in programs which leverage the customer's dollar by offering the best deals possible for a given vehicle.

In this era of high gas prices, Chevy is looking to stem the tide of SUV sales declines with more fuel-efficient vehicles such as the Tahoe Hybrid and Malibu Hybrid. For 2009, Chevrolet has also released the Traverse, a crossover utility vehicle which combines the smooth ride and responsive handling of a car with the cargo capability and high seating position of a traditional truck-based sport utility vehicle.
