Dodge Stratus Generations

For each major redesign, a vehicle is said to begin a new "generation."

The Stratus seats five passengers with two front buckets and a folding three-place rear bench. The truck has 16 cubic feet of cargo space with a high truck opening. Standard-equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control a tilt steering column, remote keyless entry, and power windows, locks and mirrors. Optional equipment includes Serious Satellite Radio. The standard engine on the Stratus is the SXT engine, a 2.4-liter, four cylinder powerplant with 150-horsepower. The R/T sedan is equipped with a more powerful 200-horsepower 2.70-liter V-6 engine, although it is available as an option for the SXT. Both cars have a four-speed-automatic transmission and the R/T comes with AutoStick, a semi automatic transmission that allows the driver to shift between gears without a clutch.
