Infiniti releases the EX35, a brand new luxury crossover vehicle, for 2008. The G35 coupe has been replaced and rebadged as the new G37. The M45 has both new interior and exterior styling including a choice between revised wood and aluminum trim interior, and changes to the grille and rear fenders. The M45X is brand new for 2008 as well as the all-wheel drive counterpart to the M45. The QX56 gets minimal exterior changes and a new interior design.

Infiniti offers special lease deals from time to time, which tend to ocurr when the manufacturer needs to sell inventory, such as at the end of the year or during model-year changeover. Also, like a few other automakers, Infiniti has special financing and lease terms for recent college graduates.

Infiniti’s latest vehicle, the M, has been well received. It was named as Popular Mechanics' choice for the 2006 Automotive Excellence Award in the Luxury category, as well as a "Best Pick" by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. In addition, it picked up a Top 10 Best Value Award from kelley Blue Book.
