Isuzu Cars
Isuzu is mainly a Japanese commercial vehicle and heavy truck manufacturer company. However, it is best known in the U.S. for its automobiles and SUVs. In 2005, Isuzu was the world's largest manufacturer of medium duty trucks around the world. And in 2003, Isuzu produced over 16 million diesel engines for various trucks. In addition to making trucks of all sizes, from 1953 to the current day Isuzu manufactures passenger vehicles in close cooperation with General Motors.

Changes in the Isuzu Cars Line-Up
For 2008, changes are mainly made to Isuzu's lineup of light to medium-duty pickup trucks. The 2008 Isuzu i-290 gains three new exterior colors, but loses the LS trim that was available in 2007. The larger, more powerful i-370 also gains three new exterior colors and a standard sliding rear window as well as several changes to option availability and packaging. The five-passenger Ascender SUV receives standard head-curtain side-impact airbags.

Isuzu owners will continue to benefit from their seven-year/75,000-mile powertrain limited warranty and matching 24-hour roadside assistance coverage. Isuzu Roadside Assistance provides lockout protection, flat tire repair, battery recharging, fuel delivery and towing (excluding accident-related incidents) at no charge to the customer. These coverages are in addition to Isuzu’s three-year/50,000-mile basic and six-year/100,000-mile perforation from corrosion warranties.

News on Isuzu Cars
Isuzu dealers sold just 638 vehicles in the U.S. in May, down 48 percent from the previous year. Because of this, many believe that the 2007 lineup could be the last year Isuzus are available in North America.
