The 2009 Lexus ES350 will offer an interesting and very collectible Pebble Beach Edition, 17" wheels, and the real eye-opener: only 6,000 will be produced. The majority of the Lexus lineup remains unchanged. Lexus' big ultra-premium SUV gets upgraded interior trim, a SmartCard key, beverage cooler and massive 20" wheels for 2009. The popular 2009 Lexus IS250 and IS350 receive minor updates in the for of interior and exterior styling. Both the IS250 and IS350 get revised steering and suspension tuning engineered for better handling performance and road feel. A retractable-hardtop convertible is expected to join the lineup as a 2010 model.
Lexus offers special (low APR) finance deals and lease deals, especially in Winter as part of the Lexus "December to Remember" sales event. However, unlike its parent, Toyota, you'll never find cash back offers, which tend to have the effect of eroding brand image and resale value.
Lexus may be getting into the high performance sports cars business. The highly-anticipated LF-A is currently on hold. Look for more Lexus Hybrids to join the the RX400h and LS600h for 2009.
