Mitsubishi Galant Generations
The front-wheel drive Galant is offered in two trim levels: ES and SE. Both are powered by a 160-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, paired to a four-speed automatic transmission with Sportronic manual shift mode. The value-conscious ES trim is equipped with 16-inch wheels, auto-off headlamps, air conditioning, cruise control and a CD player; SE trims are further outfitted with a rear spoiler, 18-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, automatic climate control, a 6-disc CD changer and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. Standard safety features include stability and traction control systems, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes and a tire pressure monitor, along with dual front, front side-impact and overhead curtain airbags.
Major changes included: The ninth generation Galant has increased dimensions and an available 3.8 liter V6 in Sport and Ralliart trims. A size increase resulted in slightly more interior space. | ![]() |
