Pontiac Montana SV6 Generations
For each major redesign, a vehicle is said to begin a new "generation."
The Montana SV6 is available in four trims: front-wheel-drive 1SA, 1SA All-Wheel-Drive, 1SB front-drive and 1SB All-Wheel-Drive. All use one of two engines, one four-speed automatic transmission, tire and wheel packages. Engine options include: a 200-hp 3.5-liter V-6 or a 240 hp 3.9-liter V-6 engine. The standard setup is one right-side power sliding door for the second- and rear-seat passengers in the 2-2-3 seating layout. Safety equipment on all models includes ABS, OnStar and a year's worth of basic services, childproof door locks and the federally mandated dual front air bags.
